Though we know and acknowledge it, only a few actually do it. One such person who spearheaded the Clinton Global Initiative and is now integral to the Non-profit organization, "Realizing the Dreams Inc" is Mike Patel. His illustrious career scope, until now, has been a roller-coaster ride. Undoubtedly, he cherishes the position he is now in, and he wishes to make use of his current position to do good to the world.
Charity comes easy for him, who was selected to be in the Commission on Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders. He also got to work for the rescue and fundraising activities that the Clinton Global Initiative undertook for the Gujarat earthquake survivors.
Awards and recognition followed soon, as, in 2007, Tony Blair awarded him with "Award for International Cooperation" between the United Kingdom and the United States of America. He also got the prestigious Ellis Island Medal Of Honor in 2008.
His strife and work go on even now and charity is what he loves to do now. He works on crucial aspects, including environmental change, and in improving world health.
